The plant

Every Rosefoam mattress is manufactured from start to finish at our Mbalala factory. From spring assembly and foam cutting to quilting, stitching, finishing, and preparation for delivery, every stage takes place under one roof. This gives us greater control over the quality and consistency of every mattress we produce.
Because we manufacture in-house, we know exactly what goes into every Rosefoam mattress. It also means we take full responsibility for the quality of what we put into your home.

Our story
Uganda’s own mattress maker
Royikems Foam Company Ltd was established on 2 October 2013 as the flagship subsidiary of Royikems Industries Ltd, a proudly Ugandan manufacturing group based in Mbalala, Mukono. Royikems Industries also manufactures under Five Star Plastics Ltd and RZ Innovations Ltd, and set out with a clear vision: to become the leading manufacturer of high-quality products in East and Central Africa.
Rosefoam is the flagship brand of Royikems Foam Company Ltd, and has become a household name across Uganda. Many customers know the company simply as “Rose Foam Company,” a name earned through its reputation for comfort, durability, and long-lasting performance. Alongside Rosefoam, Royikems Foam also produces Ecofoam, a more budget-friendly range built for shorter term use and sold through our depots. This website is dedicated to Rosefoam, our premium range.
